The 2011 Vauxhall VXR8 has never been a purple down on British roads, and for the lastest 2011 model year, with major external changes refreshed the look even more cars. A new grid “Shockwaveâ€, LED headlights and elegant new wing of the new chimneys before, while the rear has a rear wing of a new “superflowâ€, LED taillights and two tips exhaust that mimic the shape of the front grille. A new rear spoiler Vauxhall VXR8 is softer and slightly lower than before, to give a better rear visibility and less aerodynamic drag. It also includes a re-designed to support a continuous “Shockwave†style theme can be found in front of the car.
The new Vauxhall VXR8 interior has undergone a transformation. Full leather trim is now standard on the GTS, and people in front seats are wrapped in special VXR Performance with eight-way adjustable. Complementing this is a new instrument that contains cockpit gauges atop the dashboard, while new applications are sprayed over the entire width of the dashboard and steering wheel spokes (GTS models feature a race-inspired carbon fibre look). In other sectors Vauxhall VXR8, piano-black trim is surrounded by a touch screen, controls air conditioning, some of the shift lever in the center console switches and buttons on the steering wheel. Standard Equipment and Club Sport GTS Aux-in/USB and includes inputs, support for iPods and Bluetooth with phone book display and touch-screen dialling.
Complementing the new Vauxhall VXR8 MRC is Launch Control, which is activated when the driver selects the ESC (electronic stability control) mode of competition. Standard on both Clubsport and GTS models equipped with a manual transmission, the system determines the level of torque transmitted to the rear wheels for maximum acceleration, depending on surface conditions. The driver only needs to do is floor the throttle and let the car do the rest. Tests have shown that the results of LC in the acceleration does not run more than 0.1 seconds apart. Completing the entire chassis is the largest ever installed in a Vauxhall brakes. On the front Vauxhall VXR8, vented 365mm diameter discs and grooved is paramount, coupled with race-bred four-piston calipers for exceptional stopping power. The same equipment is mounted on the back with 350mm diameter rotors.
Make a statement welcoming the new Vauxhall VXR8 is GM 6.2-liter LS3, a modern interpretation of the legendary small-block engine that has driven millions of vehicles more than fifty years and currently sees service in the Australian V8 Supercar Series and the powerful, supercharged Corvette ZR1. While the 431PS of power is 6000rpm and 550Nm of torque is 4600rpm, LS3 is unstressed and adaptive enough to deal with a wider spread of driving needs, whether it is gurgling through the city and make full use of preferred driver ‘-or B- roads. And as Vauxhall proved with the Bathurst S version from the last generation Vauxhall VXR8, LS3 device is tuned to be able to receive more than 600PS, as was his strength and serenity. The result is a kind of performance you want just a large sedan costs significantly more than the Vauxhall VXR8: 0-60mph 4.9 seconds and a limited top speed of 155mph.
